About Peter
I am a clinical and cducational psychologist with over 30 years of experience in the field. I am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), the British Psychological Society (BPS) and am an affiliate member of the American Psychological Association (APA).
I offer a bespoke service to clients of all ages who are seeking either clinical or educational psychology assessments, family therapy or Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). I hold regular clinics at 35 Great James Street in London.
Throughout my career, I have held senior positions within the National Health Service (NHS) as a clinical psychologist and local authority services as an educational psychologist. Prior to moving into the private sector, I worked within the NHS in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) in London with adolescents, young people and their families. I also worked as a senior clinician at the Tavistock Clinic, London, and managed a specialist resource for children who faced complex social-emotional and mental health difficulties.
My clinical work has focused on children, families and young people and I have also delivered training to psychologists and other mental health professionals nationally. I have consulted to international organisations on the needs of children and families, acquiring a strong reputation for my expertise along the way.
In addition to my private practice, I also provide consultation services to various educational establishments, drawing on my extensive experience in both the public and private sectors.
Although my focus is on delivering high-quality private services, I will always explore the available options for my clients in the public and voluntary sector if this seems more appropriate.
